Tell us about your first kiss. Who was it with? How old were you?
I was 15, and it was with a summer fling. The boy was GORGEOUS. Curly brown hair, dark skin, and amazing dark blue eyes. We were walking down the middle of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, and it was pouring rain. It was really warm rain though (... the humidity SUCKED the next day) and that was where he kissed me :)
I just heard last week that he's in jail now and has a baby. Go figure.

Oh for the love of god! Just when I thought I was done cleaning up the aftermath of Katie vs. T-Mobile...
Nope.
I just found out that my car insurance got canceled. Why? Well, because they went to cash my check and the bank wouldn't cash it cause it tried to go through WHILE I HAD A NEGATIVE NINETY DOLLAR BALANCE.
GRRRRRR!!!!!!
So my car insurance people say that I have to open a new policy because they don't reinstate accounts that have NSF's on them. So that means that the TWO YEARS of me being good and making all my payments don't exist anymore so I get no Katie Is Awesome Discount any more.
God dammit t-mobile. This is way more grief than I'm willing to put up with.
On the bright side this is a good excuse for me to finally get around to finding a new car insurance company. Mine "lost" my payments all the time (... funny how quickly records reappear when I send them copies of cleared checks) and liked to not send me my bills.
BUT STILL. I've been driving for a week with no insurance cause they didn't even tell me they cancelled.

Appetizer: Approximately how many hours per week do you spend reading other blogs? Hmm. Probably about 3-4.
Soup: Your community wants everyone to give one thing to put into a time capsule. What item would you choose to include? A picture of my computer, so that the future can see how technologically unadvanced we were. (I'd put my whole computer in but then how would I read other blogs?!)
Salad: What is the most interesting tourist attraction you've ever visited? I followed The Freedom Trail in Boston.. it was cool.
Main Course: If you could give an award to anyone for anything, who would it be and what would the award be titled? I would give Jeff the, "Dealing with Katie" award, only it'd have a more clever name because right now my brain is not working.
Dessert: What do you think your favorite color reveals about your personality? I think it would reveal something about how random and sporadic I am because even though I wear and work with painfully bright, obnoxious colors, my favorite color is a very muted slate blue.

OMG I AM SO ANNOYED (yes, just one nnoyed.)
So I'd been trying for ages to have my auto-payment turned off. I filled out little papers and sent them in multiple times. Yeah, I could have called but it wasn't a HUGE deal at the time. So this month, it STILL wasn't turned off, and t-mobile overdrafted my account because they took the money out before I had a chance to pay them with Jeff's credit card.
So I called and complained, naturally. I was told that they couldn't just cancel the charge (... I have a very very VERY hard time believing that) and that I should call the bank. Hoever they said that they would pay my overdraft fees if the bank couldn't help. That was Sunday night.
So Tuesday morning I call the bank first thing (because they were closed monday, even though I had to work, double-yew tee eff? silly bank) and first they made me wait until yesterday to talk to me because it was still a pending charge. THEN yesterday they said that they could technically let me file an unauthorized charge report, but that I should try to work with t-mobile again because my report would get snagged a million times because I really AM doing business with t-mobile and it would take forever.
So I called t-mobile back yesterday and was again told that they can't just refund my money and let me put it on a different card but to call again as soon as my overdraft charges hit my account. I of course am less than thrilled that my account is overdrafting because then the bank thinks I suck, but what can I do, right?
Looking over my account last night, I realized that if I can convince my mom to transfer $15 into my account (because the account transfers clear really fast) then with the money in savings, my account wouldn't overdraft at all with my overdraft-protection. Not overdrafting is obviously the best course of action. Cool right?
Well, this morning I get up and I have a balance of -$90. NEGATIVE NINTY. Welcome to another WTF?!?! moment. Turns out that overdraft protection only applies if you have $50.01 or more in savings. Guess how much I had in there. $48.97 (.. yeah I know I'm broke, shut up). I was like, "ARE YOU FRICKEN KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!??!" If I had known that I would have moved the damn $48 manually of course. But I figured it was an automatic thing no matter what as long as it left me with at least 1 cent in savings (cause they legally can't overdraft a savings account). I was wrong.
So all my pending thigns went through and I had $57 in fees already applied and I still have another fee coming out tomorrow.
....... lovely. The bank offers to cancel 2 of the 3 overdraft fees that are already posted, which was cool. I love my bank ♥
So then I call t-mobile.
After leaving me on hold for like, 15 minutes, THE GUY TELLS ME THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PAY MY FEES. At this point, I'm seriously about ready to, in the words of Daniel, "cut a bitch". Or go on a murderous rampage. So I take a very deep breath so that I don't scream at the guy (which I would have loved to do, but I'm at work and people around me were on the phone) and go, "... this is unacceptable. It is not MY fault you guys cannot get your shit together and cancel my auto-debit the first two times I request it. I was told by 3 different people that my fees would be covered because this was YOUR error. If my fees are NOT covered, I can guarantee that next month, I will not be re-signing my contract, and I will also be telling every single person that I know about how poorly I am being treated after being a good customer for so long. Can I please speak to a supervisor?"
So I got put on hold for another 10 minutes, then the guy comes back and says, "Ok I spoke to the supervisor you had spoken to the first time and he said that even though it's completely against policy, we are going to credit you the $57 to your account."
*sunshine and butterflies* "Thank you so much Adam!" *puke*
So at the end of the day, they are covering my fees, but GOD it was a pain in the neck. And I still have a negative balance on my bank account because they "can't give me a refund to my bank account".
I don't think I'm signing again. I haven't decided yet.
Just in case those of you that already stopped by don't re-read the other entry: Jules has made a webring for people that love vokda. Personally, I think the stuff is disgusting and that drinking rubbing alchohol would probably be the same thing, but I said I'd advertise for her, so here I am, advertising her webring. First, I'd like to start this entry by welcoming Battlerocker to my sidebar. Battlerocker is a "2nd rate" law student and doesn't like small talk at Fantastic Sam's. I don't either. That's why I always get my hair cut by the same lady who doesn't speak english all that well. I take her a picture of how I want my hair cut and $15 later it's done. Anyway, this part isn't about me. Battlerocker also promised to clean up, and is completely dyslexic when it comes to captchas. Go visit!

It's me in a parking garage through an orange traffic cone! Jeff is weird like that, credit him for the picture. Aren't I adorable? That was a good hair day, and I REALLY miss my eyebrow piercing in a sad pathetic way. Also, the white car near the top of the photo is the infamous Betty. Stupid car.
In other news, I worked crazy overtime today and didn't even realize it was my turn to stay late until 5 minutes before I was ready to go home. It sucked. Now poor Jeff has to do all the cleaning, and as happy as I am to not have to do it, I really do feel bad that yet again he has to do my part. Sorry :(
I also forgot what I got out of bed to come online to do (.. no posting this entry was NOT it, but I figure since I was up I might as well do something productive).
